| ABOUT US (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS) |
| Who runs WRJQ? Who is on your staff? Aaron Schuelke is a 27 year old guy from Appleton Wisconsin who owns and operates WRJQ as a "one-man band." Aaron hosts an airshift on WRJQ every Saturday and Sunday morning from 6 'til 9. Where are your studios located? WRJQ's studios are in an unused bedroom, in Aaron's home, on the Northeast side of Appleton, WI. I hear commercials on WRJQ. Why should I donate? The commercials you hear on WRJQ are mainly "Public Service Announcements," or are aired as "barter" to pay for certain specialty programs on WRJQ such as "Big Band Jump," "The Jerry Schneider Show," "The Uncle Otto Show," as well as USA Radio Network news. You should donate only if you feel that WRJQ is something you'd like to see stick around for awhile. It started as just a hobby to keep Aaron out of trouble in his spare time to ensure that Polka Music gets the fair treatment and honor that Aaron feels it deserves. That hobby got way out of hand, and so did the bills, so Aaron asks for your help in order to offset some of the high costs that are associated with "web streaming" audio on the internet. |
